Gameroom failed because no one knew about it or how to access it, also because it was never hyped in the media the way it would have been had it been on PSN. No matter how stupid an idea it is (PSN+) (HOME) if its on PS3 its hyped to no end by fanboys and media, if its on 360, it fails unless MS promotes it, and they didn't.
if GT5 is better overall at launch then great, heck I was a GT fan first, but I just think its still too soon to say for sure. I will own them both when its all said and done either way.

have always been a huge GT fan, but I discovered Forza 3 and became a fan of that as well. GT had gotten stagnant and it was not evolving, I was getting board with it. Were it not for Forza putting the pressure on Poly GT5 would certainly not have as many features as it does.

You have to get the basics right before you throw in a bunch of gimmicks that no one asked for, like go carts. I would rather have Porsche's, decent damage ON ALL CARS, true to life engine sounds for each car, interiors on all cars, physics that allow you to play in 3rd person view, not just behind the wheel, more customization...
